Easy Company, 506th Airborne Division, U.S. Army, was one of the best rifle companies in the U.S. army. Ambrose writes directly; his language isn't too flowery, which is appropriate, considering the horror of war. This book is a collection of the autobiographical stories of officers and soldiers from Easy company.
